Money, time, and people are the three resources that shape most of our decisions. While they are discussed separately, they are closely connected in daily life. How we value one often reveals how we treat the others.
Money is measurable. It can be earned, spent, saved, or lost. Because it is visible, it often receives the most attention. Yet money is usually a reflection of how time was used and which relationships were prioritized.
Time is less visible but far more limited. It cannot be recovered once it is spent. How we allocate our time shows what we truly value, regardless of what we claim is important.
People are the least predictable resource. Relationships require patience, communication, and emotional effort. When treated carelessly, they deteriorate. When treated with respect, they often compound in value over time.
Many problems arise when money is prioritized over time, or time is protected at the expense of people. Balance is rarely perfect, but awareness improves judgment.
Mature decision-making recognizes that money supports life, time defines life, and people give life meaning.
